Friday, 15 June 2012With the chance to move to within one win of an NBA title, don’t expect the Thunder to let up one bit. Oklahoma City dominated the pace of the game at home, and if they can come out with the same type of effort in game three, they can take the crowd in Miami out of it early on and ruin any chance of the Heat gaining any momentum.
The biggest difference between the two teams through the first two games has been the advantage in options that the Thunder have benefited from, with a much deeper roster in terms of both offensive and defensive skill. Reigning scoring champion Kevin Durant, Russell Westbrook, and James Harden have led the way for Oklahoma City on offense in these playoffs, while Kendrick Perkins, Serge Ibaka, and Thabo Sefolosha taking care of business at the other end of the floor. The Thunder has been the most complete team in the majors all season, and that won’t change with the series shifting to Miami.
