Boxing Betting Online: Cash in on tennis betting when the Davis Cup’s first round takes place from March 4-6 at various locations across the world.

The first round of the international tennis competition the Davis Cup begins on March 4. Serbia is the top-ranked team in the tournament after winning the competition 3-2 over France last year.  France is seeded No. 2, followed by France, Spain, the Czech Republic and Argentina. The two finalist nations from last year are automatically seeded 1 and 2, and put on opposite sides of the bracket. Seeds 3-through-8 are dependent on current rankings. Rafael Nadal is competing for Spain, which is a big reason why it is ranked very high.

The United States is seeded sixth in the tournament. It will face off against Chile in the first round. The United State has beaten Chile in all four previous Davis Cup meetings. The U.S. clinched its berth in the tournament by defeating Colombia in the world group playoffs. Patrick McEnroe has been the team’s captain  for the past 10 years, but Jim Courier will take over duties this season. The team will have Andy Roddick, who committed to play for the United States at the Davis Cup in January. Roddick is 31-11 in Davis Cup matches, which is second behind McEnroe for most by a U.S. player in the tournament. McEnroe won 41 times at the event.

There are many variables in the Davis Cup, including player availability and injuries, so it’s tough to forecast exactly what will happen down the road. But as of now, it looks like Spain and Argentina are two of the teams to beat. If I made the call now, I would pick Argentina to take home the Davis Cup in tennis betting.
