Boxing Betting Online: Cash in on tennis gambling when the BNP Paribas Open takes place from March 5-18 at Indian Wells Tennis Garden in Indian Wells, California, featuring Rafael Nadal, Roger Federer, Caroline Wozniacki and Kim Clijsters.
The BNP Paribas Open begins on March 5, with many of the world’s top players ready to hit the court. Roger Federer will participate in the tournament after getting knocked out of the Australian Open semifinals by Novak Djokovic. Djokovic won the tournament and will be in this one, too. Federer hasn’t won this particular tournament since 2006, but he will very likely be in the mix through the final days. Rafael Nadal, Andy Murray, Nikolay Davydenko, Andy Roddick and Juan Martin Del Potro all have the talent to win this tournament, too.
On the women’s side, Caroline Wozniacki is the top-ranked women’s tennis player and she will have a good chance at winning the BNP Paribas Open. Vera Zvonareva, Kim Clijsters, Samantha Stosur, Francesca Schiavone, Jelena Jankovic and Victoria Azarenka are all top-10 ranked players who will be participating.
On the men’s side, Federer, Nadal and Djokovic are all very talented and each brings different things to the table. Djokovic is playing very well and Federer is always in the mix, but I like Nadal to take this one. He has been playing great tennis recently and recently ascended back to No. 1 in the world rankings. On the women’s side, Kim Clijsters is really playing at a high level and I think she will take this tournament in tennis gambling.
Caroline Wozniacki Beats Marion Bartoli For Title
One year later and WTA No.1 seed Caroline Wozniacki has her first BNP Paribas Open title after defeating No. 17 Marion Bartoli in three sets, 6-1 2-6 6-3, on Sunday afternoon in Indian Wells, Calif. The 20-year-old Wozniacki was in the tournament's final for a second year in a row, having lost to Jelena Jankovic in straight sets, 6-2 6-4, in 2010.
Wozniacki defeated Maria Sharapova in the semifinal round, 6-1 6-2. Sharapova was looking for her second finals appearance, winner of the 2006 open title. Marion Bartoli defeated Yanina Wickmayer in the semis to advance to the finals. This set up a rematch of their 2011 Doha engagement, which Wozniacki won, 6-1 6-1.
The win was Wozniacki's 14th career singles title and her second of the year, having previously won the 2011 Dubai Championship. This was her third finals appearance with a loss in Doha in between the two tournament wins.
Djokovic rattles error-prone Nadal to take Indian Wells title
Even World number One Rafael Nadal couldn't halt the soon-to-be Word number two man Novak Djokovic as the Serb extended his perfect record of the year to 18-0 to take the BNP Paribas Open title at Indian Wells.
Djokovic came back from a first set loss to take the title after a 4-6 6-3 6-2 win on Sunday to take the BNP Paribas title. The win was extra-sweet as it was his first win over Nadal in a final in six attempts.
