Tennis Betting Online: If you're looking for the best advice for tennis wagering, you've certainly come to the right place. Here at Bookmaker sportsbook, we're previewing the Barcelona Open, which will take place from April 22nd through 28th, 2013 at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain, featuring Rafael Nadal, David Ferrer, Tomas Berdych and Richard Gasquet.
If history is any indication, David Ferrer and Rafael Nadal should already plan for a meeting in the finals of the Barcelona Open. The two top-tier tennis players have met for the title in four of the past five years and will aim for another showdown on April 28th, 2013 at the Real Club de Tenis Barcelona in Barcelona, Spain. Nadal has won all four of those meetings and has seven of the past eight championships in this tournament so should be considered the favorite in tennis wagering.
Rafael Nadal's first title came in 2005 with a 6-1, 7-6, 6-3 victory over Juan Carlos Ferrero. He followed that up with four more titles in a row, defeating Tommy Robredo (2006), Guillermo Canas (2007) and then Ferrer (2008 and 2009). Fernando Verdasco broke through with the championship in 2010, defeating Robin Soderling 6-3, 4-6, 6-3, but Nadal has reasserted his dominance with victories over Ferrer in the title match the past two years. Nadal missed eight months last season with a knee injury but has played well since his return and plans to participate in the Barcelona Open once again.
David Ferrer has moved up to the No. 4 world ranking because of Nadal's layoff, and he would love to breakthrough, although doing so this year seems just as difficult. Miloas Raonic is the No. 8 seed and made the semifinals last year. Tomas Berdych (No. 3 seed), Richard Gasquet (No. 4), Nicolas Almagro (No. 5), Juan Monaco (No. 6) and Kei Nishikori (No. 7) are the other seeded players who hope to knock off Nadal in tennis wagering.

2013 Barcelona Open Results - Rafael Nadal wins the Barcelona Open Banc Sabadell defeating Nicolás Almagro
Rafael Nadal has won the ATP World Series 500 tournament Open Banc Sabadell this week in Barcelona. It’s the eighth time that Nadal has won the Conde de Godó Trophy after defeating his fellow Spaniard Nicolás Almagro by 6-4, 6-3 in an hour and 32 minutes. The eleventh all-Spanish final of this tournament was almost suspended because of the rain which fell at the beginning of the match.
At the Central Court of the Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona, the match started very well for Nicolás Almagro, who won the first three games breaking Nadal’s service twice.
When the spectators opened their umbrellas and the clay started to get wet, Nadal recovered by breaking Almagro’s service in the fourth game.
From that point on Nadal got back into the first set and finally won 6-4, after playing seven games in the rain.
Things were easier for the Mallorcan in the second set, when the rain had stopped. Nadal didn’t lose his service in the whole set and Almagro became tired both mentally and physically, as he couldn’t keep up the pace of the first set.
Nadal won the second set 6-3 to lift his eighth Conde de Godó Trophy in Barcelona, a special place to win for him because he still trains at the Reial Club de Tennis Barcelona.
