Subway Jalapeno 250 Betting OddsNASCAR Betting Online: The Subway Jalapeno 250 powered by Coca Cola looks to spice up the betting boards when the top drivers available for NASCAR Nationwide Series online wagering roll into the famed Daytona International Speedway on the first day of July.

The bright summer sun of Daytona Beach, FL, will heat up the stands while the pure speed of the cars sets the track ablaze. Some of the best drivers in the world will be putting their skills and engines to the test in an attempt to move up the leader board.

Daytona has been conquered by some of the biggest names in racing, but has also been site to some of the biggest tragedies.

On February 18, 2001, Dale Earnhardt, perhaps the most popular driver in NASCAR history, tragically died in a crash that sent fans reeling.

It is only fitting then, that the record for fastest run at the upcoming Subway Jalapeno 250 is held by Dale Earnhardt, Jr., the son of the legend and star in his own right. On the Fourth of July in 2003, Junior finished the race in 1:37:35, running at an average speed of 153.715 miles per hour, and remarkably leading the race from pole to finish.

Junior has won twice since then, as recently as last year, when the event finished in a Green-white-checker finish.

Look for the son of number 3 to be the favorite going into this one, though there will be plenty of other top choices to select when the time comes. When it comes down to participating in some NASCAR Nationwide Series online wagering, the Subway Jalapeno 250 is one of the top events of the year, and will likely yield some huge returns.

2011 Subway Jalapeno 250 Winner - Joey Logano Takes Nationwide Win In Daytona 250

Joey Logano may be used to being the pusher when it comes to restrictor plate racing, but his No. 20 Joe Gibbs Racing Toyota was the car in front when the checkered flag waved on Friday, signaling him as the winner of the Subway Jalapeno 250 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Daytona International Speedway.

Logano was pushed to the lead on the final lap by Joe Gibbs Racing teammate, Kyle Busch, in the No. 18 Toyota. The two JGR drivers lost their draft coming to the checkered flag, though, and Busch drifted back to finish in the fourth position. The final lap was the only lap of the race Logano led.

Logano and Busch didn’t work with each other most of the race, as it took them until lap 71 of the 100-lap event to find the perfect opportunity to pair up and make their charge toward the front.

The Turner Motorsports duo of Jason Leffler in the No. 38 Chevrolet and Reed Sorenson in the No. 32 Chevrolet battled the JGR tandem for the win on the final lap but ran out of time to get by before the end of the race. Leffler, instead, finished second and Sorenson was third.
