Sour Cream Dips 400" this race is the first of two NASCAR Sprint Cup Series stock car races held in June at the Michigan International Speedway in Brooklyn, Michigan. In 2006, 3M signed a three-year agreement to sponsor the race, but after one year moved its sponsorship to the August race.

Starting with the 2008 race, LifeLock will have title sponsorship rights for three years pending the announcement by the speedway.

The Michigan International Speedway Track

With 18 degree banking and 73-foot wide sweeping turns, Michigan International Speedway provides drivers with three and four grooves to run around the two-mile speedway.

This speedway is a 2-mile, wide surfaced D-shaped oval that produces side-by-side racing and is considered one of the fastest tracks in NASCAR due to its wide, sweeping corners and long straight-away; typical qualifying speeds are in excess of 190 mph (310 km/h) and corner entry speeds are anywhere from 205-215 mph (320 km/h).

Michigan Speedway plays host to the Busch Series on Saturday and the Nextel Cup Series on Sunday as well.

2011 Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 Winner - Denny Hamlin repeats as winner of the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 at MIS

Denny Hamlin held off a charging Matt Kenseth in a five-lap shoot-out to win the Heluva Good! Sour Cream Dips 400 today at Michigan International Speedway.

Kenseth tried to pass Hamlin on the final lap, going inside through turn three and almost losing control of his car. Kenseth held on for second place.

Kyle Busch crossed the line in third; Paul Menard was fourth. Carl Edwards, who won Saturday's Nationwide race, was fifth.

Hamlin, who won the race last year, had the lead coming off of pit road with five laps to go. Dale Earnhardt Jr. went into the wall on lap 192, bringing out the final caution of the 200 lap race.

When the green flag dropped with five laps left to go, Hamlin and Kenseth pulled away from the rest of the field, setting up a two car battle for the win.
