One race that you may want to pay attention to is the O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge from Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, TX. Check out all the rip-roaring action on Saturday, November 3, with the race scheduled to start early, at just 12:55 PM ET. With such an early start time, make sure you stay ahead of the game and get your bet in on time.

With only three races remaining on the Nationwide Series schedule, the tension in the air seems to be coated on the surface of each car. Every pass and every crash means so much more, as there is almost no time to make up for a big mistake. Some of the top drivers in Nationwide will be pulling out all the stops to gain an extra spot or two in the final standings.

The O’Reilly Auto Parts Challenge is the second trip to Texas for those in the Nationwide. The winner back in April at the O’Reilly Auto Parts 300 was Carl Edwards, who dominated by leading 169 of the 200 laps. It was the second straight Nationwide win at Texas, as he is coming off a 2010 win here at the Challenge.

Before Edwards it was Kevin Harvick and Kyle Busch who, together, won each of the five first races in this event.

Edwards certainly loves the Texas Motor Speedway, especially when it comes against a Nationwide field. However, it seems unlikely that he would win three straight at a track. If you don’t let that superstition seep into your wagers, then all power to you, as Edwards is definitely the most successful at this track in recent memory, and certainly a worthy pick.

2011 O'Reily Auto Parts Challenge Winner - Trevor Bayne wins O’Reily Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway

Trevor Bayne raced Carl Edwards hard in the last seven laps in Saturday afternoon’s O’Reily’s Auto Parts Challenge at Texas Motor Speedway, and then held off a charging Denny Hamlin to win his first NASCAR Nationwide Series race in 77 attempts.

Bayne found himself up front at the end and once he could smell the lead he took advantage of it. In Gatorade Victory Lane, you wouldn’t have known this kid had won the Daytona 500 earlier this season.

His 2011 season has been a roller coaster ride of extreme highs and devastating lows. He may have the biggest race in NASCAR history, but since then his season has been anything but storybook.

Earlier this season, Bayne suffered through an unexplained illness and was later treated at the Mayo Clinic. When he did return to the track, he experienced mediocre results at best. Bayne’s win on Saturday afternoon gave Jack Roush his 299th NASCAR win and helped Ford Motorsports clinch the 2011 manufacturers’ title.
