NHL Betting Online: After two failed attempts to bring a hockey team to Calgary, with the Tigers in 1921 and the Cowboys in 1975, it seems the Flames have carved out a niche up north. After 31 years of existence as the Calgary Flames, it will take a momentous disaster to lift them from their home now. However, it was three points short of the eighth seeded Chicago Blackhawks, and the Flames had to sit at home during the playoffs for the second straight year. After no significant pieces were added in the offseason, the Flames hope another year of improvement can bring this team back to the playoffs.
