PGA Grand Slam Of Golf Betting OddsThe PGA Grand Slam of Golf isn't one of the events on the PGA Tour, but it is still going to be an illustrious golf betting affair that you aren't going to want to miss. This offseason tournament, which takes place in October, pits the winners of the four major championships over the course of the year against each other in a 36 hole, stroke play competition.

This year, the field won't be filled with some of golf's biggest names, save for Phil Mickelson, who won the Masters, the first Grand Slam event of the year. Joining Lefty will be Graeme McDowell, Louis Oosthuizen, and Martin Kaymer.

The Port Royal Golf Course in Southampton, Bermuda will be used to separate these four in for a prize pool of $1.35 Million. Though only $600,000 goes to the winner, a guaranteed $200,000 is award to the golfer which finishes last in the event.

Typically, golfers card incredibly low scores at this event, as was demonstrated by Mickelson's 59 that he shot in his 2004 triumph in the Grand Slam of Golf.

Should Mickelson win this event this year, he will become just the fifth man in the history of the tournament to win it multiple times. Considering the fact that the great Jack Nicklaus never even won the event once, that's definitely saying something.

Tiger Woods has seven wins in this event, by far the most of any golfer. Greg Norman has three victories, while Jim Furyk and Andy North both have a pair.

Lucas Glover played in this tournament for the first time last year after winning the US Open, and he won by five shots. This year, McDowell, Oosthuizen, and Kaymer will all be playing for the first time in Bermuda.

Mickelson won in 2004 after claiming the Masters, and came back the next year after winning the PGA only to lose to Woods, who won both the Open Championship and the Masters that year.

This event may not count for anything on the PGA Tour money list, nor will it count towards points for the FedEx Cup playoff, but you can rest assured that these four major tournament winners this year are going to be putting on quite the show in Bermuda. 2011 PGA Grand Slam of Golf Winner

Keegan Bradley, this year's PGA Championship winner, held off fast-closing Masters champion Charl Schwartzel to win the 29th PGA Grand Slam of Golf by one stroke on Wednesday.

America's Bradley settled for a par-71 in a windy final round at the 6,845-yard Port Royal Golf Course to complete 36 holes on four-under 138 while South Africa's Schwartzel, who began the day seven adrift, closed with a 65.

Bradley took home $600,000, twice as much as Schwartzel, in the two-day, $1.35 million showdown of the year's four major golf champions. All four players were first-time major winners.

US Open champion Rory McIlroy, who began the day level for the lead with Bradley on 67, struggled to a 75 to take third on 142 while Northern Irish compatriot Darren Clarke, the British Open winner, fired a 74 to end on 151.

Bradley was snubbed for a US captain's choice spot on the Presidents Cup team by Fred Couples in favour of Tiger Woods and US PGA season playoff champion Bill Haas, but showed his major breakthrough was no fluke by hanging on to win.

ELS WINS 2010 PGA GRAND SLAM OF GOLF

Ernie Els ran off three straight birdies on the back nine Wednesday and turned a three-shot deficit into a one-shot victory over David Toms in the PGA Grand Slam of Golf.

Els, an alternate who was filling in for Masters champion Phil Mickelson, closed with a 2-under 69 and earned US$600,000. It was his second victory in the 36-hole event for the year's four major champions. Els also won in 1997 when it was at Poipu Bay.
