AT-T National Golf Betting OddsOnline Golf Betting: The AT&T National is a professional golf tournament held in the Washington D.C. area during the Fourth of July weekend. The PGA Tour event is hosted by Tiger Woods and benefits the Tiger Woods Foundation. The first AT&T National was held July 5th - 8th, 2007, at the Blue Course of the Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Maryland.

The AT&T National returned to Congressional in 2008 and 2009 and has been held midway between the U.S. Open and the British Open to ensure a strong field of competitors.

Congressional originally agreed to host the AT&T National for the first two years, but after opting out of hosting the 2009 U.S. Amateur tournament agreed to host the event again in 2009 as well.

2011 AT&T National Winner - Watney flawless to win by 2 shots at Aronimink

The two highest ranked players in the World Rankings to show up at Aronimink Golf Club this week wound up battling it out for the 2011 AT&T National crown Sunday.

Even after K.J. Choi finally pulled even with four holes to play, frontrunner Nick Watney never flinched, and never gave Choi — or any of his pursuers, for that matter — even a slight opening.

One day after establishing the course record in spectacular fashion, Watney followed up with a scintillating, bogey-free 4-under-par 66 to edge Choi by two strokes and capture his second PGA Tour win of the season and fourth of his career.

His winning score of 13-under 267 was two strokes better than Justin Rose’s score a year ago.

2010 Champion

Justin Rose lifted his profile like a bottle rocket shooting skyward, winning the AT&T National for his second title in three events.

"Playing under this sort of pressure when you're playing well is like exciting," Rose said. "It's butterflies and it's a buzz."

It was the 29-year-old Englishman’s second victory in America in the space of four weeks and he is playing the best golf in the world right now.
