Czech Open Golf Betting OddsEuropean Tour Golf Betting Odds: Now in its third year, the Czech Open returns the Prosper Golf Resort in Celadna in the Czech Republic and the course designed by Ryder Cup player Miguel Angel Jimenez. The course measures 7,155 from the tips, the fairways are hilly and narrow and the greens are wide-spread and rolling with a great amount of undulation. The course is carved on a hill-side and has several water hazards as well as pot bunkers.

Swede's have dominated the event so far, with Oskar Henningsson capturing his maiden European Tour title in 2009 and Peter Hanson succeeding him last year to effectively seal his spot in The 2010 Ryder Cup Team. Henningsson's triumph saw him become only the 31st player to graduate from the Qualifying School and post a win the following season, and also only the third player behind Gordon Brand Jr. and Jose Maria Olazabal to triumph the season after winning the Final Stage itself which he did at PGA Golf Catalunya in November 2008.

Defending Champion Peter Hanson produced a brilliant putt to claim victory in his Czech Open three way play-off against Gary Boyd and Peter Lawrie, moving into the all important top nine of the European Ryder Cup team rankings in the process. After all three players shot par on the first hole of the play-off, the Swede holed an 18- footer when they played it again - the 18th hole of the Prosper Golf Resort course in Celadna - to secure the victory.

"It was really tough day and I was a bit tense coming out," he said. "It turned out in the end that both me Miguel (Angel Jimenez) and Simon Dyson who had so much to play for didn’t play our best, but I managed to scrape it round the back nine and make that birdie on 16 to get into the play off.

2011 Czech Open Winner - Czech triumph for Fisher

Fisher struck birdies on the 16th and 17th holes of his final round to move clear of the field on 13-under-par, before making a four for par on the 18th to seal his maiden European Tour triumph.

Lundberg finished two strokes in front of third-placed Fabrizio Zanotti, who shot an excellent 66 in the fourth round.

Englishman Gary Boyd took fourth place on eight-under, a shot ahead of a group of four that included Scots David Drysdale and Steven O'Hara, the latter having shared the lead with Fisher after three rounds at Prosper Golf Resort.

Irishmen had dominated the top placings on the leaderboard after the opening's day play, but fell away as the tournament progressed.

Damien McGrane ended up as the highest-placed of the Irish contigient, finishing seven shots off the summit in a tie for ninth place.

Shane Lowry closed on four-under, a stroke ahead of Paul McGinley, while Peter Lawrie finished on even-par, three in front of Simon Thornton.
