PGA Tour betting fans certainly won't want to miss this one, as this is the first time that a crop of golfers this strong will be playing for this big of a prize in a notable tournament.
The Mines Resort and Golf Club is going to be the host for this event, which will take place over the course of Halloween weekend.
The mix of golfers in this event is going to be incredible even though the field will only feature 40 men. The top 25 players from the PGA Tour according to the final FedEx Cup standings will be invited, while the top ten Asian players will also be here. At least one of the final five spots is guaranteed to be held by a Malaysian professional. The other four spots will be held by the winners of regional events that are held in Malaysia, Singapore, Thailand, and Indonesia leading up to the main event starting on October 28th.
All 40 golfers will be playing all four rounds of golf, as there is no cut to make. This is expected to be one of the most attended events in the history of Malaysian sports, as Kuala Lumpur is ready for some of the best golfers in the world to take their aim at the best course that Malaysia has to offer.
A $6 Million purse will be awarded, with $1 Million going to the winner. All 40 players will be a part of the purse.
The course, Crane and Eagle, is a Par 71 at the Mines Resort and Golf Club. Scores are expected to be incredibly low, as -20 or better could easily be the winning number.

2011 CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Winner - Bo Van Pelt wins Asia Pacific Classic
American Bo Van Pelt birdied five of the last eight holes to win the CIMB Asia Pacific Classic by six shots in Malaysia yesterday.
The 36-year-old had a closing 64 at The Mines in Kuala Lumpur to claim the $1.3million first prize with a 23-under-par aggregate of 261, five better than Ben Crane’s winning score when the PGA Tour-sanctioned event was first staged last year.
Compatriot Jeff Overton was second, his fifth runner-up finish on a circuit where he has yet to win, and Sweden’s Fredrik Jacobson came third.
Overton appeared to have a chance to move only one behind on the 12th, but three-putted for bogey while Van Pelt got up and down for par.
The gap then went to five when he hit approaches to within two feet of the next two flags and further birdies at the 15th and 17th were the icing on the cake for the American.
Van Pelt’s only full PGA Tour victory came in a play-off two years ago and he has let slip a number of chances to win since then.
2010 CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Results - Ben Crane Wins at Malaysia!
Ben Crane from Oregon wins the 2010 CIMB Asia Pacific Classic Malaysia at The MINES Resort & Golf Club. After taking a snail-like 4 1/2 years between wins, from July 2005 to January 2010, it seems Ben has decided to pick up the pace. Leading when he entered the last round of the CIMB, he stumbled a bit with three bogeys on 12, 13, and 14. He stepped up to the tee at 15, drove the par-4 green, and sank the putt for eagle. A birdie on 18 sealed the deal, and suddenly Ben Crane had two wins in one year.
