ATT Pebble Beach Natioanl Pro Am BettingPGA Tour Golf Betting Odds: The AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am is a professional golf tournament on the PGA Tour, held every year at Pebble Beach, California. The tournament is typically held during the month of February on three different courses, currently Pebble Beach Golf Links, Spyglass Hill Golf Club, and Monterey Peninsula Country Club. The event was originally known as the Bing Crosby National Pro-Amateur, or just the Crosby Clambake.

The starting field consists of 156 professionals and 156 amateurs. One professional is paired with one amateur. Each day, 52 2-man teams will play on one of the three courses. Then on the final day, those professionals and pro-amateur teams making the 54-hole cut will play on the Pebble Beach Golf Links.

Only professionals may compete in the individual competition part of the tournament. Amateurs are restricted to playing only in the pro-amateur team competition. The local Pebble Beach tournament officials handle pairing of professionals with amateurs, while the PGA Tour's weekly tournament officials handle the assignment of tee times.

There are two cuts this week; one for the professionals and one for the amateurs and this is how they work for both:

Individual cut: At 54 holes, the low 60 scorers plus any ties. Players between 61st and 70th (and ties) will receive both official money and FedEx Cup points, as the cut for this tournament ensures the field is smaller than a standard tournament cut of 70.

Pro-Amateur cut: At 54 holes, the low 25 teams, plus any ties.

Notable professionals in recent years have included Tiger Woods, Phil Mickelson, Dustin Johnson, Luke Donald, and Jim Furyk. Notable celebrities have included fan favorite Bill Murray, Kevin Costner, George Lopez, Tom Brady, and Carson Daly. The tournament continues to be a success every year despite the rainfall that typically shows up this time of year in Northern California.

2012 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Winner - Mickelson Crushes Tiger To Win At Pebble Beach

Phil Mickelson rallied from six shots behind to win for the fourth time at Pebble Beach, a final round made even more memorable by the guy in a red shirt who was among the first to congratulate him Sunday on the 18th green.

Turns out Tiger Woods was just along for the ride.

Mickelson closed with an 8-under 64, beating Woods by 11 shots in a one-sided showdown at the Pebble Beach National Pro-Am.

Woods, one shot out of the lead on the sixth hole after 54-hole leader Charlie Wi fell apart early, followed his first birdie of the final round with three straight bogeys, starting with a three-putt from 18 feet on the par-3 seventh.

It never got much better from there.

He finished a miserable day with another three-putt on the 18th for a 75, the only consolation coming from belief that he’s closer than ever to putting it all together.

2011 AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am Winner - Humor helps Points at AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am

D.A. Points. Hunter Mahan. Steve Marino. Bill Murray. Bill Murray?

Yeah, it was that kind of whacky week at the AT&T Pebble Beach National Pro-Am. At times it was hard to tell if it was a golf tournament or a taping for Saturday Night Live.

Whatever the case, it seemed to work for Points, who had Murray as his amateur partner from an unpretentious start to a championship finish. Points had the first, and best of all, the last laugh Sunday to win the AT&T in a three-player dogfight for most of the last 18 holes.

Points, 34, finished at 15-under, two strokes better than runner-up Mahan, to claim the winner's cut of $1,134,000.
