Santander Italia Grand Prix Betting OddsFormula One Betting Online: For all those whose only knowledge of the Italian language consists of the words arrivederce and buongiorno, because they watched Inglourious Basterds over and over, let me translate the Gran Premio Santande D’Italia into English for you. It means, roughly, “Super Fast Crazy Race”...and you can take that to the bank. Also bolstering your bank account will be a successful wager when you use this event to bet on Formula One Racing online.

With the Grand Prix starting at 8:00 a.m. ET, due to its location halfway around the world, you will need to make sure to stay on top of this one if you want to use it to gamble on F1. Taking place at the Autodromo di Monza, on Sunday, September 9, this Formula One Grand Prix event will be crucial to the standings come the end of the season.

The Autodromo di Monza is a fairly traditional track, with far less turns than your normal Grand Prix raceway. With plenty of straight aways and fast corners, this track allows drivers to reach speeds over 230 miles per hour. I guess that is why they call it Super Fast Crazy Race.

Trying to repeat is the winner of the Italian Grand Prix last year, the Spaniard, Fernando Alonso. If he can win to make it back to back victories, it will be the first time it has happened since the British Damon Hill finished off a repeat back in 1994. Even Michael Schumacher, the only five-time winner at this event, never won back to back races.

Tune in early on Sunday to find out if Alonso can pull it off, or if one of his competitors will stifle him.

2011 Italian Grand Prix Winner - Vettel has raised game

Red Bull Racing team principal Christian Horner believes Sebastian Vettel has "taken another gear" this year as he stands on the brink of successfully defending his Formula One world title.

Vettel took the chequered flag for the eighth time this season on Sunday with victory in the Italian Grand Prix, with only Michael Schumacher and Nigel Mansell having won more races in a campaign. The 24-year-old now has a 112-point cushion to Fernando Alonso in second place.

Assessing the man with the F1 world at his feet, Horner said: "He has evolved as a driver and a young man, and it's easy to forget he is only just 24. Certainly he has come into this year with more experience, but it would be very easy to underestimate what he has achieved."
