Miami 31 at Kansas City 3
The Dolphins blew a 15-point fourth quarter lead to Tim Tebow and the Broncos in Week 7, and are still winless. The Chiefs' defense was outstanding in a blowout of the Raiders, and despite the loss of star running back Jamaal Charles, Kansas City has won three straight to claw back to .500 on the season.
Tampa Bay 16 at New Orleans 27
The Buccaneers have beaten the Saints once this season, but doing it again on the road will be tough. New Orleans is 5-2 on the year and has one of the best air attacks in the NFL, led by quarterback Drew Brees. Tampa Bay is dealing with injuries to its top two running backs, and is hoping to have starter LeGarrette Blount back for this game.
Atlanta 31 at Indianapolis 7
The Colts have been a wreck without quarterback Peyton Manning, as an embarrassing 62-7 loss to the Saints on Sunday night dropped the team to 0-7. The offense and defense have been equally inept, so the Falcons should be favorites in this one despite being on the road. Atlanta beat the Lions in Week 7 to get over .500 at 4-3 for the first time all season.
The Texans are 4-3 on the year after routing the Titans, and are top-10 in the NFL in passing yards, rushing yards, and opponents passing and rushing yards. Houston's Arian Foster is starting to get back to top form, and the team should have star wide receiver Andre Johnson (hamstring) back from injury for this one. Browns running back Peyton Hillis has also been battling an injury, and his health is key for the team's offense.
New York Jets 27 at Buffalo 11
Ths Bills have been one of the league's surprises with a 5-2 record, including wins over the Patriots and the Eagles. Buffalo has the fourth best rushing attack in the NFL, led by tailback Fred Jackson, although it will go against a Jets defense that is always stingy.
San Francisco 19 at Washington 11
The 49ers are one of the league's surprises with five wins in six games, and seem to be cruising to the NFC West title. Both teams like to run the ball, so this game could be low-scoring. San Francisco running back Frank Gore is more established, although Mike Shanahan always seems to find players that can gain yardage, and Ryan Torain is the starter now after Tim Hightower hurt his knee.
Cowboys rookie running back DeMarco Murray ran for 253 yards in a blowout win over the Rams in Week 7, and hopes to keep that going against the Seahawks. Dallas has a ton of weapons on offense, although its record is just 3-3 on the year. The Cowboys' defense is first in the league in stopping the run, which could be trouble for an offensively challenged Seahakws squad.
Cincinnati 24 at Tennessee 17
Titans star running back Chris Johnson has been very disappointing thus far, and it's imperative for him to start playing better. The Bengals are off to a 4-2 start on the strength of their defense. Wide receiver A.J. Green is quickly becoming a star for Cincinnati.
The first game of the Carson Palmer era was forgettable for the Raiders, as he didn't start and then threw three interceptions after replacing Kyle Boller in a blowout loss to the Cheifs. Palmer and the Raiders are looking to get back on track against Tim Tebow and the Broncos. Teboew rallied Denver to a win over the Dolphins in his first start of the year in Week 7.
New York Giants 24 at New England 20
The Patriots look like the class of the AFC, and will have another chance to prove their worth against a solid Giants squad. New York star wide receiver Hakeem Nicks has been out due to injury, so check his availability for this one. New Engald quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Wes Welker is one of the most dangerous combinations in the NFL, so the Giants' secondary must be prepared.
St. Louis 13 at Arizona 19 (OT)
Both of these teams are struggling mightily, and it might actually work out better for both to lose to get a higher draft position, as their playoff chances are minute. The Cardinals are having trouble putting together a complete game, while the Rams' offense has been dreadful, and quarterback Sam Bradford is now dealing with a high ankle sprain.
The Packers are the defending Super Bowl champions and have started the year 7-0. Quarterback Aaron Rodgers is the favorite to win the league MVP, and Green Bay looks like the best team in the league. The Chargers have a ton of offensive weapons, but haven't put it all together quite yet. However, with players like Philip Rivers, Antonio Gates, Vincent Jackson and Ryan Mathews, San Diego may be able to compete with Green Bay.
Baltimore 23 at Pittsburgh 20
This is a rematch of the season opener, when the Ravens defense dominated and the team cruised to victory. The Steelers have won five of six games since and both are once again in the discussion as the AFC's best team. Like always, expect this one to be a defensive struggle as it showcases some of the best defensive playmakers in the NFL, including Jerome Harrison, Troy Polamalu, Ray Lewis, Terrell Suggs, Ed Reed and Haloti Ngata.

Chicago 30 at Philadelphia 24
The Eagles have not left themselves much room for error with a 2-4 start, although with Michael Vick, DeSean Jackson and LeSean McCoy the team still has a bunch of playmakers on offense. The Bears are 4-3, and rely on Matt Forte to rush the ball well and an opportunistic defense to make plays. Both these teams made the playoffs last year and want to go back.
