Washington 10 at Philadelphia 34
Philadelphia has played better since the return of Michael Vick (ribs), but at 6-8, the team's playoff chances are slim. They will be favored to win this game, but it could be too little, too late after a disappointing start for the team. Washington beat the New York Giants in Week 15 but should be the underdog because Philadelphia has more firepower.
1:00 PM - FOX
Pittsburgh 13 at Cleveland 9
The Steelers struggled offensively against the San Francisco 49ers last time out and quarterback Ben Roethlisberger is banged up. Pittsburgh should be the favorite to win this game, and it is shooting for a first-round postseason bye. The Browns have lost four straight and could have trouble scoring points in this one.
1:00 PM - CBS
Baltimore 24 at Cincinnati 16
This game could have big-time implications for both sides. Baltimore is battling the New England Patriots, Pittsburgh Steelers and Houston Texans to gain a first-round bye in the AFC postseason, while Cincinnati is shooting for a wild card conference berth. These are two of the better defenses in the conference.
1:00 PM - CBS
New York Jets 17 at Miami 19
The Jets' playoff chances may come down to this game, as they are fighting with the Cincinnati Bengals and a host of other teams for one of the final playoff berths. Miami is just 5-9 but has a positive point-differential, so this is not an easy one for New York. Dolphins running back Reggie Bush has excelled this year, but New York prides itself on run defense, so that will be a good matchup.
1:00 PM - CBS
Carolina 17 at New Orleans 45
New Orleans has won six straight games and are in a battle with the San Francisco 49ers for the second first-round playoff bye next to the Green Bay Packers. Quarterback Drew Brees is closing in on Dan Marino's record for passing yards in a season. The Panthers beat the Houston Texans in Week 15 and have the type of team that can play spoiler.
1:00 PM - FOX
Atlanta is in good position to make the playoffs and should be able to clinch a spot with a win in this game. Tampa Bay has really struggled after overachieving last season as it has lost eight consecutive games and has an offense that is struggling.
1:00 PM - FOX
Green Bay's chance at a perfect season ended at the hands of the Kansas City Chiefs. If the Packers have already wrapped up the NFC's top seed, they could choose to rest starters in this game, which would certainly affect NFL football spreads. The Lions are in the wild card hunt and will almost assuredly be going all out.
1:00 PM - FOX
San Francisco 34 at St. Louis 27
San Francisco continues to impress, with its most recent win coming against the Pittsburgh Steelers. The 49ers and the New Orleans Saints are battling for the second NFC first-round bye behind the Green Bay Packers, and this is a good matchup against the woeful Rams, who have the worst offense in the league.
1:00 PM - FOX
Indianapolis 13 at Jacksonville 19
Indianapolis finally got its first win of the season last week over the Tennessee Titans. Neither team's offense is very explosive, although Jacksonville has the best offensive player in the game behind running back Maurice Jones-Drew, while the Colts struggle to stop the run, so Jacksonville should be favored.
1:00 PM - CBS
Buffalo 21 at New England 49
The Bills pulled off a big upset by beating New England earlier this year, but the Patriots should be substantial favorites here. Buffalo has nosedived with seven straight losses after a 5-2 start. New England recently cruised past Tim Tebow and the Denver Broncos, and is aiming for a first-round playoff bye in the AFC.
1:00 PM - CBS
Tennessee's playoff chances took a big hit when the team lost to previously winless Indianapolis in Week 15. The Titans almost certainly need to win this regular season finale to make the postseason. The Texans are in a race to get a first-round playoff bye in the AFC, but lost to the Panthers in Week 15 with third-string quarterback T.J. Yates unable to lead the team to many points.
1:00 PM - CBS
Injuries to quarterback Jay Cutler and running back Matt Forte have submarined the Bears' season, and now they are a longshot to make the postseason after a 7-3 start. Minnesota has lost six in a row and is just 2-12 on the season, although the return to health of star running back Adrian Peterson will certainly help.
1:00 PM - FOX
Dallas 14 at New York Giants 31
Depending on what happens in Week 16, the NFC East title could come down to this game. Both teams have been inconsistent, but have the type of talent to make some noise if they can make the postseason. New York quarterback Eli Manning struggled in Week 15 in a loss to the Redskins, but he has been very good overall this year.
1:00 PM - FOX
Kansas City 7 at Denver 3
Kansas City was the first team to beat the Green Bay Packers this year in Week 15, and could affect the AFC playoff race by knocking off the Broncos. Denver has played very well under quarterback Tim Tebow, although the team did lose to the New England Patriots last week. The Broncos are a game ahead of the Raiders and Chargers in the AFC West race.
4:15 PM - CBS
The AFC West race is coming down to the wire, with these two teams and the Denver Broncos battling for a playoff spot. San Diego has won three straight, including Week 15's impressive beatdown of the Ravens, while Oakland is going the other way with three consecutive losses. The Chargers have more talent but are notoriously inconsistent.
4:15 PM - CBS
Both of these teams have made surprising late-season runs to become darkhorses in the NFC wild card races. The winner may have a chance to sneak into the postseason, while the loser will be out. Marshawn Lynch has really played well at running back for the Seahawks of late.
