HOUSTON 30 VS PENN STATE 14
2012 TicketCity Bowl Winner - Houston down Penn State in TicketCity Bowl
Pacing the Penn State sideline just the way his dad did for 46 seasons, Jay Paterno couldn't help but wonder what JoePa might be doing back home in Happy Valley.
A 30-14 loss to Houston at the TicketCity Bowl on Monday ended a tumultuous season for a program shrouded with uncertainty following the firing of a Hall of Fame coach in the aftermath of a child sex-abuse scandal that shook college sports.
The 24th-ranked Nittany Lions were picked apart by Case Keenum and the 20th-ranked Cougars. He threw for 532 yards and three touchdowns, a dispiriting finish for a defense that was allowing 162 yards passing per game.
Keenum threw for more than double that by halftime. Now, Houston (13-1) gets to relish in the satisfaction of extending its school record for victories in a season.

If you don’t have the TicketCity Bowl as one of your mainstay College Bowl Games yet or you don’t even remember it, you didn’t just lose your memory. This game is taking over where the Cotton Bowl Classic left off, so let the TicketCity Bowl Betting begin.
The actual Cotton Bowl Classic Game of old moved to the home of the Jerry-Tron which is the new Dallas Cowboys’ stadium built by none other than THE Jerry Jones. Well, he had some help from the city of Arlington, the taxpayers of Arlington and of course the NFL. That is a different article, so…..
You aren’t going to get a LOT of past performance information about the TicketCity Bowl as last year was the first (a first to be a first) when Texas Tech played Northwestern for the first time. This game rightfully started out last year with a bang being the New Year’s Day baby starting first.
Texas Tech obviously consumed less Jager bombs celebrating New Year’s Eve the night before than Northwestern, who they pummeled by 18 points first half. It turned into a close game towards the end, but the heavy damage was already done in an inaugural Bowl Game at a legendary location.
We are talking about a place here that has more history than my facetious 82 year old history teacher in high school and actual life to boot. The inaugural Cotton Bowl Classic on January 1, 1937, expansion NFL team Dallas Cowboys home field starting 1960 and multiple concerts, football games and even futbol (soccer) games makes this one of the most notable sporting venues in our (their) time.
2008 marked the completion of millions of dollars of facelifts for Cotton Bowl Stadium, and it is not even located in Beverly Hills (sorry, it is late.). This overhaul turned out to be an amazing upgrade for anyone with vision and hearing (ehhh?), as the restoration of everything from the turf and toilets to the audio and video was a smashing success.
I would say to remember TicketCity Bowl Betting, but I’m sure your interest is peaked and you’re already researching your plays for BookMaker, Where The Line Originates.

2011 TicketCity Bowl - Taylor Potts accounts for five touchdowns as Texas Tech tops Northwestern
Tommy Tuberville knew better. The last two onside kicks he called this season were returned for touchdowns. The most recent came in this very stadium.
The thing is, he just couldn't help himself.
Leading Northwestern by three touchdowns late in the third quarter, the Texas Tech coach tried it again - and it backfired again, setting up an exciting finish in the inaugural TicketCity Bowl.
The Wildcats rallied to get within a touchdown twice in the fourth quarter and were driving for a tie or win when the Red Raiders intercepted a heave on the final play, preserving a 45-38 victory and allowing Tuberville to joke about his risky move.
