Following two weeks of exhibition play, the Canadian Football League regular season will begin on June 30, with a pair of games the next day on July 1, or Canada Day. The season is 19 weeks long, with teams playing 18 games in that stretch. The bye weeks are in weeks nine and 10. There are eight teams in the CFL, and they are split into a pair of four-team divisions. The West division consists of Calgary, Saskatchewan, British Columbia and Edmonton. The East Division is Montreal, Hamilton, Toronto and Winnipeg. Six of the eight teams make the playoffs, with each division winner earning a bye in the first round.
