NCAA baskeball Betting Online: Florida State went 23-10 last season, losing to Virginia Commonwealth by a point in overtime as its March Madness run ended in the Sweet Sixteen. The Seminoles finished No. 19 in the postseason coaches poll, which was the second time in three years that the team was ranked to end the year. Florida State finished third in the ACC and beat Duke during the regular season, so it was a successful year, and one the team is trying to build upon.

The Seminoles will lose its top two leading scorers from last year. Chris Singleton averaged 13.1 points and 6.8 rebounds per contest last year and Derwin Kitchen added 10.4 points and 5.8 rebounds per game but both are moving on. However, Florida State does have three solid players returning. Okaro White averaged 8.8 points and 2.7 rebounds, as did Michael Snaer. Bernard James pitched in with 8.6 points and 2.4 assists per contest, and all three could see an increase in production with more shots available. Deividas Dulkys averaged 7.3 points and 2.8 rebounds per contest and started several games, and is also expected to be a big-time contributor. 

Florida State was known for its defense lasts season, and is hoping it can perform well again on that end of the floor this season. The Seminoles only allowed 36.3 percent shooting to opponents last season, and any repeat of that will undoubtedly keep the team in most of its games. It's also something to consider for over-under predictions in NCAA basketball betting.
