NBA Betting Online: The Milwaukee Bucks began play as an NBA expansion team in 1968. They currently compete in the Central Division of the Eastern Conference.

The Bucks have won one NBA championship, a pair of conference titles and 13 division crowns during their history. They host home games at the Bradley Center in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Common with most expansion teams, Milwaukee scuffled during its inaugural season, winning just 27 games. But the Bucks dubious record that year earned them the top pick in the NBA Draft.

With the No. 1 overall pick, team management selected Lew Alcindor out of UCLA (would change his name to Kareem Abdul-Jabbar in 1972). The inside presence of Alcindor reaped immediate benefits.

The Bucks nearly flip-flopped their record in 1969-70 by finishing with a 56-26 mark. It was the greatest single-season turnaround in league history at the time. Milwaukee won its first playoff series against the 76ers but lost to New York in the East finals. Alcindor was a landslide selection for Rookie of the Year.

The next year, the Bucks pulled off a ridiculous trade with the Cincinnati Royals, acquiring another big man in Oscar Robertson. The "Big O" paired alongside Alcindor created the most dynamic frontcourt tandem in the NBA.

Milwaukee went 66-16 that season and steamrolled through the playoffs with a 12-2 record. The club won its first and last NBA title by sweeping the Baltimore Bullets in four games. The Bucks became the fastest expansion team to win the championship.

The following season, the Bucks rolled right back into the Finals, this time playing the Boston Celtics. Game 6 would provide a timeless moment in NBA history as Abdul-Jabbar sank his patented sky hook with seconds in double overtime for the victory. But the Bucks would end up losing Game 7 and they haven't been back to the Finals since.

Milwaukee won another division title in 1980 but was moved to the Eastern Conference following that season. There, the team posted 11 straight .500 seasons and won six consecutive divisions behind players like Sidney Moncrief, Paul Pressey, Craig Hodges, Terry Cummings, Ricky Pierce and Jack Sikma.

The franchise fell on tough times from 1991 to 1998, enduring seven straight losing seasons under three different head coaches.

The drafting of Glenn Robinson and acquisitions of sharpshooter Ray Allen, point guard Sam Cassell and head coach George Karl helped the Bucks rise back to prominence. They won 52 games in 2000-01 and reached the Eastern Conference Finals where they fell to Philadelphia in seven games.

Brandon Jennings was taken by Milwaukee in the 2009 NBA Draft after playing professionally overseas for one year after high school. Instead of opting for a collegiate program, Jennings decided to gain professional experience playing in Italy, while getting paid. With the new rule implemented that high school players must wait one year before entering the league, it will be interesting to see if more players follow in his footsteps.

Jennings and center Andrew Bogut are the future cornerstones of the franchise. In Jennings's rookie season, the Bucks returned to the playoffs under the direction of head coach Scott Skiles.
