-IRISH GYPSY – spent most of her horse betting career in California racing on synthetic tracks, but she does have a win over real dirt at Lone Star Park. Given some time off in August following disappointing horse betting efforts behind Tanda and Tar Heel Mom, and she has a history of running well fresh – not worse than second in her last five starts off the horse betting bench. Inside draw may force the horse betting hand of jockey Martin Garcia.

-GREAT HOT – shipped in from California to win the Raven Run-G2 at Keeneland against three-year-old fillies at this distance. She has yet to beat older horse betting runners, but was beaten just two lengths by talented Zazu two starts back, and that filly would have been a major horse betting contender had she run in the Ladies’ Classic.

-TURBULENT DESCENT – heavy horse betting morning-line favorite has won 6-of-8 starts and never been worse than second. She is a multiple Grade I winner, and she’s undefeated in three horse betting starts at this distance. Away since early August, she is no stranger to firing a big effort off the bench. There is plenty to like, but this will be her first horse betting run against older company and the price will be low.

-CHAMPAGNE D’ORO – finished fourth in this race last year as the horse betting favorite and hasn’t been the same since. She enters this year riding an eight-race losing horse betting streak, only once hitting the horse betting  board during that span. During that time she has lost to several horse betting rivals she faces here. Signs of life last time out in a Grade I at Santa Anita, but not enough to believe she’ll be up to the horse betting task today.

-MUSICAL ROMANCE – the most active filly the horse betting field having already raced 13 times in 2011. She appears to be thriving on the schedule, filling the exacta in seven of her last eight horse betting races (she was third in the other). In addition, she’s won three of her last four starts on dirt at sprint distances, her only loss coming by a neck. Never faced a horse betting field this deep, but 20/1 morning line is attractive for the horse betting exotics.

-SWITCH – horse betting connections considered running in the Ladies’ Classic but opted for this seven-furlong affair, a distance at which this filly owns a 5-2-2-1 record. She has hit the board in her last ten starts, and that includes a runner-up finish in this race last year. Getting a little better horse betting price today after she lost a recent stake at Keeneland at 9/10 odds, but that was six furlongs and simply too short for her horse betting best.

-TAR HEEL MOM – multiple graded stakes winner could retire a horse betting millionaire with a top-two finish today. In order to do so she need to improve off recent efforts in which she was beaten a combined 17 lengths. She has raced at this horse betting distance just once in the last 19 months, but in her career she has handled it well.

-TANDA – traded punches with Irish Gypsy this summer in California, but it remains to be seen whether than carries much horse betting weight in this spot. Just one win in her last seven races dating back to May 2010, and she has run just once over conventional dirt. Looks like she needs a horse betting career-best effort.

-GOLDEN MYSTERY – after some horse betting struggles this spring and early horse betting summer this mare has put it all together, winning her last two races by daylight. Although she is stepping into the toughest horse betting race of her life, her last-race Beyer Speed Figure is topped only by Turbulent Descent and Pomeroy’s Pistol. She’s also won her last two starts at this horse betting distance.

-TAMARIND HALL – back in March you could have taken this filly for a $15,000 claiming tag at Aqueduct. She won that horse betting race and hasn’t missed the horse betting board since, including a dominant Grade III win at this distance in early July. Minor awards in recent races against Pomeroy’s Pistol and Tar Heel Mom, but the horse betting connections would probably be thrilled with a similar finish today.

-HER SMILE – form has gone south since her 7/1 upset in the Prioress-G1 at Belmont Park on July 4. She has trained very well over the track this horse betting week, and she’ll need to transfer that form into the afternoon if she hopes to contend for top honors against these. Off the horse betting board in both starts at this distance and will be making her first start against older company.

-POMEROY’S PISTOL – came back from a brief layoff with a dominant horse betting win over Tamarind Hall and Tar Heel Mom at Belmont Park. The effort was the best of her career, and it should be noted it came over a wet horse betting racetrack. She’ll need to run just as fast, on a “fast” track, if she hopes to repeat today.

-SHOTGUN GULCH – lost four-straight races since pulling at 11/1 upset in the Vinery Madison-G1 at Keeneland in April. That win did come at this horse betting distance, but it’s her only victory since last October. Possibly the best “closer” in the race, yet needs everything to go just right to make her presence felt at the horse betting wire.
