BROKEN DREAMS - mare just posted a solid horse betting win in longer turf sprint in California. Needs best, but she can contend against these.

CALIFORNIA FLAG - makes his fourth horse betting appearance in this race, winning in 2009 at Santa Anita. He was 8th here at Churchill Downs last year.

CAMP VICTORY - better than he showed in most recent horse betting prep. If he returns to previous form he can have a say in the outcome.

CARACORTADO - more accustomed to longer horse betting distances and this trip requires any potential horse betting winner to be within reach turning for home.

CHAMBERLAIN BRIDGE - simply loves this turf course, and proved it with a win in this horse betting race last year. Could be set for successful repeat.

COUNTRY DAY - ran well in Grade III at Keeneland last out but needs career-best horse betting effort to beat this field to the wire.

GRAND ADVENTURE - 13 straight races against graded horse betting company but hasn't won a race since June 2010. Finished 9th in this race last year.

GREAT ATTACK - on his best day he may be able to contend for a share. Needs everything to go just right to have a chance at the top horse betting spot.

HAVELOCK - he's won three-straight turf sprints, but horse betting connections were initially hesitant to run here because of the shorter distance.

HOLIDAY FOR KITTEN - she won a G2 over polytrack last timehile facing her own kind. Appears to be in deep horse betting waters if she goes here.

HOOFIT - earned a trip to the Sprint with upset win over polytrack at Keeneland, but horse betting connections elect to go back to turf.

PERFECT OFFICER - he's currently in the best form of his career but has yet to win a graded stake at any horse betting level. Must prove his class.

RAPPORT - had to need last following long horse betting layoff. Were they prepping her for this race? This will be her first start on grass.

REGALLY READY - stakes winner over the local lawn at this distance, recent horse betting win indicates that he is back in top form.

HORSE BETTING OUTLOOK

This race did not overfill and none of these are cross-entered for other races, so what you see is what you get - barring any late horse betting scratches.

While there are plenty of accomplished turf sprinters in this field, not all of them are created equal. Many in here have won turf sprints, but at longer horse betting distances. This five-furlong affair is a true sprint.

The defending champion CHAMBERLAIN BRIDGE overcame the inside post and rallied from off the pace to win last year, but he did have a relatively clean trip. It will be crowded when the field turns for home, and the ability to make a clean run may be the deciding horse betting factor.

It's tough to predict how the horse bettors will decipher this field, but on paper there isn't a runner in here that deserves to be a low-priced favorite. As the first leg of the Ultra Pick Six, bettors with a sizeable bankroll will elect to cover as many horse betting contenders as possible.
