-MISS MATCH – should be happy to be back with her own horse betting kind after facing the boys in a pair of Grade I races in California. This mare posted the best effort of her career at this distance in March, getting up in the final jump to win the Santa Margarita-G1 at odds of 45/1. Only once in her last five races has she gone to post below 10/1, so today’s starting horse betting  price may be a little low.

-PACHATTACK – she’s a winner on turf and polytrack; can she win on dirt? Her only previous horse betting try over the surface was a runner-up effort behind loose-on-the-lead Ask the Moon at Saratoga. The pace scenario in this race figures to be more in her favor. Comes off a big effort at Keeneland, losing the Spinster-G1 by only a half-length to Aruna (Filly & Mare Turf). Would be no horse betting surprise.

-IT’S TRICKY – two Grade I wins this summer have her in the horse betting conversation for champion three-year-old filly, but to claim that honor she will need to turn the horse betting tables on Plum Pretty and Royal Delta, two fillies who have soundly beaten her in recent starts. Both times she was the betting favorite, but despite finishing second both horse betting times she was beaten a combined 13 lengths. Have to wonder if she peaked months ago.

-SATANS QUICK CHICK – the horse betting odds maker may have just been playing kind to local connections when he listed this mare at 30/1. In reality she should be 75/1 – or higher. She has lost seven consecutive races since winning a $75,000 stake at Oaklawn Park in her first start of the year. During the horse betting streak there are plenty of minor awards against fillies and mares that she faces today, but put all of those in the same starting gate and this gal looks completely overmatched.

-ASK THE MOON – horse betting connections took a chance and claimed her for $75,000 in June, and two starts later she won the first of two consecutive Grade I horse betting races. Both wins were wire-to-wire at Saratoga, and she was unable to take that form on the road to California, where she tired after six furlongs and beat only one in the Lady’s Secret-G1. The presence of other speed, namely Plum Pretty, hurts her horse betting chances.

-ROYAL DELTA – finished behind It’s Tricky and Plum Pretty in July at Saratoga, but she was coming back from a two-month layoff. With that race under her belt she dusted It’s Tricky in the Alabama-G1 at a distance longer than today’s. Last time out over a muddy horse betting track she was no match for Havre de Grace, but finished well-clear in a runner-up horse betting effort. Has been one of the horse betting stars in morning works this week. Dangerous.

-ULTRA BLEND – she should change her name to “Ultra Consistent.” Beginning her horse betting career back in 2008 against $25,000 maiden claimers, this mare has gone on to hit the board in 22-of-24 career horse betting races – and both misses were 4th-place finishes. After terrorizing the California-bred ranks she took her game to a new level this summer, winning the Clement Hirsch-G1 at Del Mar and finishing second in three other graded events. She has never run this far but she’s handled everything else thrown her horse betting way.

-PLUM PRETTY – back on her game following a dismantling of It’s Tricky in the Cotillion Stakes-G2 at Parx Racing. Now she returns to Churchill Downs where she won the Kentucky Oaks-G1 in May. She has been first or second in all but one horse betting career start, and she’ll be out winging it again in this horse betting spot. An early speed duel with Ask the Moon could ruin her horse betting chances.

-MEDAGLIA D’AMOUR – just hasn’t been the same since returning from nine-month layoff in August. She did run well two horse betting starts back, but that was a turf race where she got an easy horse betting lead, opened up on the field turning for home and still got nailed nearing the wire. She’s never won beyond one mile and never raced over dirt. Tough horse betting task ahead.

-SUPER ESPRESSO – Pletcher and Velazquez can only hope this turns out better than the Life At Ten debacle in last year’s Ladies’ Classic. And that don’t have a strong horse betting hand to play here. This filly shows a declining Beyer Speed Figure horse betting pattern and has finished behind Aruna, Packattack (twice), and Ask the Moon (twice) in recent horse betting races. Her biggest win of the year came against much easier in a Grade III.
