-TAKE CHARGE INDY – makes his first start on dirt after three horse betting races over polytrack. Easily won his Arlington Park debut, finished second in the Arlington Washington Futurity-G3 and then fourth in the Breeders’ Futurity-G1. In that Washington race he did finish ahead of Motor City who won the local Iroquois-G3 on opening horse betting day. Might ultimately be better on horse betting dirt.

-DULLAHAN – notched his first career horse betting victory in the Breeder’s Futurity-G1 at Keeneland. Switches back to dirt when he showed little in two previous races, although both of those were sprints. Last was a true indicator of his ability, and having a win at this horse betting distance is a plus. Right there if he duplicates it on dirt.

-CRUSADE – European import will try dirt for the first horse betting time following a career-best effort in the Middle Park Stakes-G1 at Newmarket. Breeding suggests he can handle the dirt, but what about the added horse betting distance – he has yet to run beyond seven furlongs, or around a “turn” of any horse betting kind.

-DRILL – looking to take the rubber horse betting match against Creative Cause. Beat that one in the Del Mar Futurity-G1 then took the runner-up spot in their first attempt around two turns on dirt. In hindsight he was up against it that day from a pace standpoint, and he should get a better horse betting setup this time around.

-HANSEN – not sure anyone knows how good this colt is at the horse betting moment. He crushed the opposition in two races at Turfway Park, winning by a combined 25 ½ lengths. Has shown a high rate of speed and simply opened up on the field turning for home. Hasn’t run on dirt but does all of his training on the horse betting surface. Sensing what’s at stake, he gets a big horse betting rider switch to Ramon Dominguez.

-PROSPECTIVE – reeled off consecutive horse betting wins after finishing second in his career debut. Handled two turns just fine last time out in the Grey Stakes-G3 at Woodbine, so the horse betting distance won’t be an issue. The big question, like others in here, is his horse betting ability to transfer good polytrack/turf form onto the dirt.

-CREATIVE CAUSE – he’s won 3-of-4 starts, with the only blemish coming at the hands of Drill two starts back. Easily won the Norfolk-G1 in his first try around two turns on dirt, but is likely to face a much different pace scenario today. Not impossible by any means, but others will offer better value.

-SPEIGHTSCITY – hasn’t been seen since early September when he crushed maidens by 11 ½ lengths going a longer horse betting distance at Saratoga. Work tab during his time away hasn’t exactly been clockwork, and facing a field like this off the bench is no easy horse betting task.

-ALPHA – impressive horse betting winner of his career debut, then jumped right up and finished second to Union Rags in the Champagne-G1 at Belmont Park. Was no threat to the winner in that race, but was game in taking home the runner-up spot after a fairly rough horse betting trip. Should have plenty of room for improvement.

-UNION RAGS – unbeaten colt is already a multiple graded stakes horse betting winner and a deserving favorite in this race. Like Alpha he didn’t have the best of horse betting trips in the Champagne-G1, but once he found clear sailing he exploded to win off by more than five lengths. The only thing standing between him and a division championship is another win – this one around two horse betting turns.

-DADDY LONG LEGS – a winner in 2-of-3 starts across the pond, this European import was bred in Kentucky so he has some “dirt” in the pedigree. Handled the stretchout to one mile in his latest, and may be suited to handle the added ground of this race. Only two Europeans have ever won this race, and that was Johannesburg who was sent over by this trainer. Johannesburg is this colt’s granddaddy.

-FORT LOUDON – earned a trip to the big horse betting leagues after reeling off four-straight wins at Calder. Comes off an easy win in his first start around two turns, but he was sitting on a :50.3 half-mile before pulling away. He won’t enjoy that kind of easy horse betting trip against these, especially from an outside horse betting post.

-OPTIMIZER – all three starts have come around two horse betting turns, so that’s not an issue. He beat Dullahan two starts back and was beaten less than two lengths in the Breeders’ Futurity-G1, so his class is not an issue either. What remains to be answered is the same horse betting question posed of several others – “is he as good on dirt as he is on turf and polytrack?”
