WNBA Betting Online: A two-game winning streak has pushed Indiana back into the top spot in the Eastern Conference, a half-game ahead of Atlanta, the team it beat on Friday. The Sparks, meanwhile, are in a battle to simply make the playoffs, as a loss to San Antonio on Sunday dropped them to 10-18 overall and a half-game behind Minnesota for the fourth and final playoff seed. These teams faced off on July 22 and Indiana had no trouble, cruising to a 76-57 home victory. This one is in L.A., where the Sparks are 7-7 on the year. The Fever is 7-6 in road games, and has won four of its last five away from Indiana. Tina Thompson leads the Sparks in scoring at 15.1 points per game, and on Sunday passed Lisa Leslie as the WNBA’s all-time leading scorer. WNBA Betting Online: The San Antonio Silver Stars visit the Los Angeles Sparks in a game that has serious implications for the bottom half of the Western Conference’s playoff seedings. With less than a month to go in the WNBA regular season, San Antonio clings to a third seed in the West, while the Sparks must piece together a string of wins to make the big show. The Silver Stars are led by guard Becky Hammon, who averages 13.5 points per game and helps direct the San Antonio offense. Hammon, in her twelfth WNBA season, is supported by teammates Sophia Young (14.6 ppg) and Chamique Holdsclaw (13 ppg). The Silver Stars have found a way to win games, despite an offense that ranks last in the WNBA with 75.12 points per game. When these two teams met at MSG earlier this season, New York fell to Minnesota 75-68, a typical game for the Liberty -- New York hasn’t scored or given up more than 100 points all season.
