Growing up in Omaha, under the lengthy shadows of Nebraska football, Creighton basketball and College World Series baseball, Eric quickly learned that college sports was king and that he had a lifetime addiction to it. Since those days he's gone on to write for such outlets as ESPN, CBS, NBC, USA Today, Rivals and College Baseball Today and is also a frequent in-studio college baseball analyst for CBS College Sports.
Now living in Southern California, Eric sits in one of the hotbeds of college sports. When he's not covering a game or writing about something NCAA-related, he enjoys surfing, snow skiing, playing hockey and rough-housing with his black lab "T.O." Eric was also 7th runner-up in "The Most Interesting Man In the World" competition held by Dos Equis in 2009.
